- Don't refrigerate potato strips overnight. Fries are best when potato is peeled and fried in a same day.
- Potato for mashed potato must be overcooked. Refrigerate mashed potato is fine

Bento Box
Recently, I saw a lot of cute Bento pictures in Instagram and I am inspired!! So I started to make Bento for myself.
My first Bento was a mess. I used a Winnie The Pooh Bento box I bought from Disney Shop. And I put Tuna salad + sesame dressing inside. By the time I took out my Bento box, the dressing already oozed out. It was so messy!
Thus, I decided to invest in LockNLock container to prevent leakage, although, I have to sacrifice cuteness of Bento box appearance. Anyway, I rather eat food from neat Bento box than messy Bento box.

This is my second attempt using LockNLock container. It has dividers which make my food looks organized. Love it! Plus point is that the divider can be taken out.
Then I saw this giveaway in this post. I am super excited and hoping that I will be the lucky one! The giveaway has not ended yet. So, quickly join in and good luck to me and you :D

Pink Macaron
I did the Chocolate Macaron before. This time I tried doing normal Macaron. But I do want to have white Macaron so I add red coloring to get Pink Macaron. I filled them up with chocolate. Love the color combination so much!! Brown and Pink is pretty!!
For Pink Macaron, I use different recipes. It is measured by cups.
Ingredients (Shells only)
- 1 cup Grounded almond- 2 cup Icing sugar
- 3 egg whites (no need to aged but they must be in room temperature)
- 1/4 cup Caster sugar
How to
1. Make sure that all equipment has no trace of oil
2. Beat egg whites until foamy (about 2 minutes with hand electrical mixer)
3. add caster sugar slowly while beating egg whites until hard peak (really really hard peak, about another 5-6 minutes)
5. add sifted grounded almond and sifted icing sugar into (3)
6. fold the batter until the batter looks like lava (about 50-60 folds)
7. time for piping!
8. bake it at 150C for 20-30 mins (macaron shell will have even color when perfectly cooked)
